Samokatus Hotels

A five-star St. Regis in the heart of Moscow, steps from Red Square, praised for its classical interiors, attentive staff and panoramic breakfast. Guests highlight the spa with pool and frequent thoughtful touches — complimentary upgrades and personalised service — while only minor cosmetic issues appear in a few reviews.

Occupying the 54th to 87th floors of the iconic Jin Mao Tower in Pudong, Grand Hyatt Shanghai is famous for its jaw-dropping views of the Bund and its spectacular, dizzying interior atrium. While guests love the spacious rooms, excellent dining options, and prime financial-district location, the classic property shows its age through dated decor and spotty in-room technology. It remains a memorable choice for those seeking a dramatic high-altitude experience in Shanghai.

A restored 19th-century mansion converted into a boutique Marriott Autograph hotel in Galata/Pera, admired for tasteful period design, attentive named staff and a popular rooftop breakfast with panoramic views. Many guests praise spotless rooms and helpful reception teams; noise from the rooftop bar and surrounding nightlife is a recurring downside—ask for a lower-floor room for quiet.

Housed in a beautifully restored historical building that once served as a woodwork mastercraft shop and chocolate factory, Boutet Bastille Hotel offers 80 stylish rooms and suites. Guests can unwind in a superb wellness area boasting an indoor heated pool, sauna, and steam room under a magnificent glass roof. Located in Paris's vibrant 11th arrondissement, it perfectly balances chic industrial heritage with intimate boutique hospitality.

A modern, adults‑only cliffside hotel in Lara with dramatic sea views, a private deck with steps into the water and well‑rated spa and pool areas. Guests frequently single out reception and concierge staff (Mahsa, Alla, Emre, Abdullah) for excellent service, while complaints center on compact room sizes and strict no‑outside‑food/drink rules.

Housed in a historic 1882 building, Georges Hotel Galata is a stylish, 20-room boutique hotel known for its French-inspired charm and spectacular Bosphorus views from its rooftop restaurant. Located just steps from the Galata Tower, it offers highly personalized service and elegant, high-ceilinged rooms, though some guests find the minimalist room layout and premium pricing impractical.

Located in the vibrant heart of Leicester Square, W London offers a high-tech, design-forward experience with tablet-controlled rooms and a lively social atmosphere. While guests rave about the exceptionally friendly staff and proximity to West End theaters, the unconventional open-plan bathrooms and late-night noise from nearby venues can be disruptive. It is a premier choice for young travelers and nightlife enthusiasts seeking to be in the center of London's action.

Rixos President Hotel Astana is a long-standing premium hotel in the heart of Kazakhstan's capital, renowned for its outstanding breakfast buffet, superb wellness area, and highly attentive guest relations team. However, guests frequently note that the rooms and technical infrastructure are showing signs of aging, with occasional execution lapses in room cleanliness and climate control. It remains a prestigious and highly convenient choice for business trips and central sightseeing.
